Your company is doing something right
As a purpose-driven brand, you're looking to ignite positive change, connect with conscious consumers and turn a profit.
Not so much to ask right?

You've put heaps of hard work into getting where you are right now.
Maybe you're a fully fledged eco-friendly brand with a beautiful origin story. Or maybe your company has made some positive sustainability changes recently and nobody knows about it.
Either way, your business should be communicating your sustainability story - with effect.
Consumers want sustainable brands
A recent study by Google showed that the majority of consumers express interest in brands that prioritise sustainability
82%
of shoppers want brand values to align with their own
60%
of consumers are voicing their concerns about the global supply chain

eco-friendly products. With 55% paying more for sustainability
In a world where consumers are increasingly becoming more conscious in their buying decisions, your sustainability story will be a breath of fresh air.
Your narrative deserves the
spotlight

Converting your sustainability story into sales.

Transparency & Trust
Build trust with your consumers.
You are an authentic sustainability conscious brand and your consumers value transparency. Share your story and let them in. Your commitment to positive change will help you gain a loyal following.
Impact & Inspiration
Inspire others to take action
and drive broader change by motivating other
businesses to adopt sustainable practices.
Your storytelling becomes a catalyst for positive impact.
How will they know if you don't tell them?
Storytelling is the key to good marketing.
Stories have the power to create a genuine connection between brands and their audiences. They evoke emotions, create relatable experiences, and foster a sense of empathy, allowing customers to connect with your brand on a deeper level. People remember stories, they tell them to their friends and family and build you a loyal customer base.
What does this look like for your business?
A consistent storyline that communicates your sustainability efforts throughout multiple forms of media.
Your narrative should be a journey that spans across your website, annual report, social media platforms, newsletters, blogposts etc. Not every form of media is going to work for your brand, but consistency is key. Know your target audience, be relatable and drop the jargon.
You need copy that is...
Time Efficient
Running a business is time consuming. Wouldn't it be nice to take content and copy off the to-do list?
Conversion Focused
Turning those browsers into buyers with persuasive, compelling copy.
Data Driven
Works with your KPIs and other stats, tracking engagement and course correcting.
Brand Aligned
Sounds and feels like the voice of your brand and speaks to your target audience.
SEO Optimised
Keyword research and high quality content that satisfies user search intent.
Anti-Greenwashing
Only authentic, truthful stories told here.
Your audience should understand your mission within seconds.
That means you need good copy, that resonates, packs a punch, stands out from the crowd and vibes with your people.
A narrative, not an
afterthought
There are so many elements to running a successful business.
It takes countless hours of work, management, product refinement, meetings and calls. With so many other priorities, your sustainability efforts are failing to shine through the noise and commotion.
You need a narrative, a figurative carbon neutral-vehicle so to speak, to drive your sustainability story to the front door of your target audience.
Good copy and content takes dedication, time and research. Throwing out a few posts now and again isn't going to cut it. Your content should be consistent and in line with your objectives. You need a writer who understands your company values and knows how to communicate your mission in a relatable, person-focused way. Providing a narrative that supports your marketing strategy and makes your brand unforgettable.
Thats why you need a sustainability writer

Good Idea. Check out the blog and portfolio!
How does it work?
1. Fill out the little form over there. Talk about yourself, your business and anything else you feel might be relevant.
2. You'll receive a link to organise a video call so we can get to know each other and ask further questions. This call should provide a good understanding of your needs and perhaps even ignite some initial ideas.
3. If everyone's happy, you'll receive a short contract describing the work that was agreed in the call, just to make sure we're all on the same page. It will be sent over with an invoice that serves as a 50% deposit.
4. Once the contract has been signed and the deposit has been paid, your project will join the to-do list and the story begins! You'll receive updates and check ins each week.
Who are Element Copy?
More like 'who is'
It's me! Hi. I am Alex and I am the team.
I started copywriting a few years ago while working for surf guesthouses in Portugal. It began as some basic editing for a few multi-lingual friends with businesses. From there I ended up on a project providing copy for the COP26 event of Glasgow 2021. I was always passionate about nature, sustainability and cruelty free products. The COP26 event made me realise this was my niche.
Why 'Element Copy'
Yea I know, most copywriters just use their own name and face to represent their work. It certainly gives a nice personal touch! I didn't feel like doing that though. I wanted to add another layer to really secure my brand identity, and keep my options open in terms of scalability. Gotta keep moving forward hey!
I settled on 'Element Copy' because sustainability includes all the 'elements' and there are also a lot of 'elements' to good storytelling (oooh cringe).
So there you have it, Element Copy at your service.
